Lenny Rocillo started to play Bass at the age of 17. Being an avid music listener, he turned to the likes of Rush bassist, Geddy Lee, and some Jazz greats such as, Stanley Clarke., Rocco Prestia, and Victor Wooten. With those influences, Lenny has adapted to create his own unique style and sound.

Lenny plays a variety of basses; a 1976 Fender Jazz, a 5 & 6 stringed bass, Piccolo fretless, and a fretted custom made Abe Rivera's. For his current amplification, Lenny uses an SWR 750 power amp with a Bass Pod Pro pre-amp going through an SWR Senior Goliath cabinet (6X10'S). All these basses can be heard on Lenny's solo cd, The Lenny Rocillo Project "IF YOU WANT BASS". You can also check out details of all this gear here.
